No charge of ‘transphobia’ is too absurd for Jack Dorsey
You have suspended my account for arguing with someone about gerbils. I do not understand what is supposed to be abusive or harassing about gerbils, especially from someone who has made it clear they enjoy being compared to gerbils. This is the second time you have done this sort of nonsense. Please restore my account.
But honestly, I was just trying to figure out how to make some more time for the fall semester crunch, so I don’t mind the serenity. I really don’t. At this point, I am happy to let Jack Dorsey be seen silencing someone for the crime of giving a gerbil butthurt on the internet. Whatever he does to me, he does to his own brand. Zen.
About the gerbils. Twitter user @theedijester came up with the moniker “grievance gerbil” to describe the modern male rights activist demanding validation, and I was instantly slain, deceased. It’s perfect. I use it all the time now.
Those people tearing up signs that say “jokes are funny” at the We Hate Dave Chappelle rally are grievance gerbils. Those people protesting against rape victims, nailing rats to rape shelter doors, and acting all aggrieved that the BBC dared speak with lesbians who’ve been pressured into sex with men — they are all grievance gerbils, and they are nibbling harder than ever at everything which displeases them, which is most things, since reality is a terf.
Someone told me that this particular gerbil, @mebisdead, has made it his life’s work to throw Scottish women out of bars when they don’t validate his ladypenis. I wouldn’t know, since I don’t hang out in Scottish bars that don’t allow lesbians.
However, I have been on Twitter for 13 years, and watched @jack Dorsey value the ego deaths of men over the actual, real, not-imaginary safety and well-being of women many many times. Did Mr. Gerbil receive thousands of death threats from a drunken, doxxing man? That happened to women I know, who reported all of the offender’s accounts, as did other people, but some of those accounts are still on Twitter. This all happened years ago of course. Then the year after that, and the year after that, and the year after that…
It happened again just this year, too, and every year of all the years in between, because women have never once enjoyed the kind of instant response to their reports of abuse and harassment that grievance gerbils clearly do enjoy.
My friend @IsaiahLCarter, a black man, was silenced for 119 days this year because white gendertheist Danny Muscato was offended by a pronoun. This is on top of Twitter constantly silencing people with CCSD/DSDs for the crime of speaking about their own health conditions, which really seems to trigger gender gerbils. Basically, anyone who claims to be genderspecial seems to have a certain — shall we call it “reporting privilege”? They are star-bellied sneetches, and Jack comes running whenever they squeal. As Isaiah says, “tis a train that is never late.”
This will not stand. I will be back, however long it takes. In the meantime, you can keep up with me at Substack.
