Each Wednesday, this newsletter presents a roundup of the best gender critical news and content we have found in the last week, including action items such as petitions and opportunities for public comment on pending legislation.

  • “Trans rights are human rights! & etc” —Ophelia Benson examines what such slogans really mean for women and girls
  • Podcast: the controversial Posie Parker interviews Dr. Will Malone on the harms of pediatric transition
  • Must read: trans man Scott Newgent tells Graham Linehan about a grueling transition with complications and describes the sorry state of the gender reassignment surgery business. “Butchering transgender people, making a fortune and not caring is bigotry”
  • Who says that satire is dead? Pink News interviewed a troubled grifter with a goofy conspiracy theory this week, and Megan Murphy lampoons it
  • The aforementioned Pink News article has galvanized gender critical Twitter, with everyone demanding to know more about the “international network of powerful lesbians” they haven’t been invited to join. One example is at the top. This one is my personal favorite

  • Here’s a nice brief on Stephen Whittle, a trans man who helped organize the Yogyakarta Principles and became president of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) in 2007
  • Transgender champion Amanda Jetté Knox says that online harassment by trans activists made her suicidal over the weekend. TW: cult atmospherics are strong at the end
  • Kaeley Triller Harms of Hands Across the Aisle is in a unique position to judge which political side in America has the most vicious misogyny, and guess what, the left is actually worse now. I spent years in the “progressive movement” and can confirm she is correct
  • Save Women’s Sports has a petition calling on the International Olympic Committee to suspend their 2015 transgender guidelines for the Tokyo games. Current IOC rules allow men to dominate women’s events after suppressing testosterone for a single year, a measure which does not adequately address the physiological imbalance created by “including” male bodies in women’s athletics. Read and sign here
  • This is your weekly reminder to support Vancouver Rape Relief, a charity that gives women a safe place to stay and heal after trauma, in response to local transgender activist and fringe politician Morgane Oger’s successful efforts to defund the organization because they exclude men from their volunteer activity. Oger denounces VRR’s policy as a slippery slope to genocide(!). Click here to support their important work

About the author

Former progressive activist declared heretic by his former movement for refusing to believe that "woman" is a costume or a feeling and recognizing male pattern behavior as male even when it wears lipstick and high heels. Just because you hate something I say does not make it hate speech.
